Large scale sculpture is apparent in central Petaluma, along the river and in sculpture yards scattered throughout the area.
Marco Cochrane’s studio is on First Street and the 47 foot woman and other pieces are visible from Petaluma River Park.
The west coast sculpture studio of world famous sculptor Mark di Suvero is located on Lakeville Street behind the Hunt and Behrens Mill. His large scale steel works can be seen all over the region and throughout the world, including the National Gallery of Art in Washington D.C. and the Museum of Modern Art in New York. A large piece is slated for installation at the Petaluma River Park in the future.
