The Sonoma Marin Rail Transit train currently runs from Santa Rosa, CA to the Larkspur Ferry Terminal, connecting to ferries to San Francisco. A drawbridge just east of Highway 101 allows river traffic to navigate upstream to downtown Petaluma. The Petaluma Marina is immediately adjacent to the bridge.
